DECISION OF THE EEA JOINT COMMITTEE
No 55/2011
of 20 May 2011
amending Annex XIII (Transport) to the EEA Agreement
THE EEA JOINT COMMITTEE,
(1) the following indent shall be added in point 17h (Directive
2000/30/EC of the European Parliament and of the
Council):
Having regard to the Agreement on the European Economic
Area, as amended by the Protocol adjusting the Agreement
on the European Economic Area, hereinafter referred to as
‘— 32010 L 0047: Commission Directive 2010/47/EU of
‘the Agreement’, and in particular Article 98 thereof,
5 July 2010 (OJ L 173, 8.7.2010, p. 33).’;
Whereas:
(2) the following shall be added in point 16a (Directive
2009/40/EC of the European Parliament and of the
Council):

PARTIES SHALL TAKE NOTE’ the following point shall be
inserted after point 36c (Commission Recommendation
2010/379/EU):

The texts of Directives 2010/47/EU and 2010/48/EU and
Recommendation 2010/378/EU in the Icelandic and
Norwegian languages, to be published in the EEA Supplement
HAS DECIDED AS FOLLOWS:
to the Official Journal of the European Union, shall be authentic.

Annex XIII to the Agreement shall be amended as follows:
This Decision shall enter into force on 21 May 2011, provided
that all the notifications pursuant to Article 103(1) of the
