Council Recommendation
of 16 February 2010
on the appointment of the Vice-President of the European Central Bank

THE COUNCIL OF THE EUROPEAN UNION,
Having regard to the Treaty on the Functioning of the European Union, and in particular Articles 283(2) and 139(2)(h) thereof, and having regard to Articles 11.2 and 42.3 of the Protocol on the Statute of the European System of Central Banks and of the European Central Bank,
HEREBY RECOMMENDS TO THE EUROPEAN COUNCIL:
To appoint Mr Vítor CONST?NCIO as Vice-President of the European Central Bank for a term of office of eight years with effect from 1 June 2010.
