DECISION OF THE EEA JOINT COMMITTEE

amending Annex XX (Environment) to the EEA Agreement
THE EEA JOINT COMMITTEE,
‘, as amended by:
Having regard to the Agreement on the European Economic
Area (‘the EEA Agreement’), and in particular Article 98 thereof,

November The text of Decision 2011/740/EU in the Icelandic and
2011 amending Decisions 2006/799/EC, 2007/64/EC,
Norwegian languages, to be published in the EEA Supplement
2007/506/EC, 2007/742/EC, 2009/543/EC and to the Official Journal of the European Union, shall be authentic.
2009/544/EC in order to prolong the validity of the
ecological criteria for the award of the EU Ecolabel to
certain products ( 1 ) is to be incorporated into the EEA
Article 3
Agreement.
This Decision shall enter into force on 29 September 2012,
provided that all the notifications under Article 103(1) of the

to
the
EEA
Agreement
should
therefore
be
amended accordingly,
EEA Agreement have been made to the EEA Joint Committee (*)

or on the day of the entry into force of the Decision of the EEA
Joint Committee incorporating Regulation (EC) No 66/2010 of
HAS ADOPTED THIS DECISION:
the European Parliament and of the Council ( 2 ), whichever is the
later.
Article 1
Annex XX to the EEA Agreement shall be amended as follows:
