AGREEMENT in the form of an exchange of letters between the European Community and the Republic of Poland setting up a tariff quota for imports into the Community of certain industrial products originating in Poland

A. Letter from the Community

Brussels, 29 September 1994

Sir,

It was agreed between the European Community and the Republic of Poland that products originating in Poland and classified under code 7013 99 90 of the combined nomenclature would benefit from the suspension of import duty within the limit of a new Community tariff quota of ECU 1,13 million for 1994.

It is understood that these products may also benefit from the existing tariff quota for code 7013 of the combined nomenclature set up under the Europe Agreement establishing an association between the European Communities and their Member States, of the one part, and the Republic of Poland, of the other part.

This Agreement in the form of an exchange of letters must be approved by the Contracting Parties in accordance with their respective procedures.

I should be obliged if you would confirm that the Republic of Poland is in agreement with the above.

B. Letter from the Republic of Poland

Sir,

I have the honour to acknowledge receipt of your letter of today's date which reads as follows:
