COMMUNICATION FROM THE COMMISSION on the carriage of coal and steel by the Italian State Railways (FS) at rates and conditions under special agreements

The FS apply to the internal carriage of certain products rates and conditions which differ from published tariffs.

Pursuant to the provisions of the ECSC Treaty cited in High Authority Recommendation No 1/61 1, the Italian Government has adopted certain ceasures relating to the publication of such rates and conditions ; in connection with those measures, there is published below a list of the routes over which consignments of coal and steel are carried at rates and conditions fixed under special agreements.

Producers, dealers and buyers of coal and steel products may on application obtain such information on these rates and conditions as may be necessary for the purposes of their participation in the operation of the common market.

Request for information should be addresed to the Commission of the European Communities, Directorate-General for Transport, 170 rue de la Loi, Brussels 4 (Telex Nos 21877, 21878, 21879 and 21898).
