COUNCIL DECISION

appointing the Chairperson of the European Statistical Governance Advisory Board

THE COUNCIL OF THE EUROPEAN UNION,

HAS ADOPTED THIS DECISION:
Having regard to Decision No 235/2008/EC of the European
Parliament and of the Council of 11 March 2008 establishing
Article 1
the European Statistical Governance Advisory Board ( 1 ), and in
particular Article 3 thereof,
Mr Thomas WIESER is hereby appointed Chairperson of the
European Statistical Governance Advisory Board, for a period
Having regard to the opinion of the European Commission,
of three years from 23 March 2012.
Having regard to the approval of the European Parliament,
Article 2
Whereas:
This Decision shall enter into force on the third day following
its publication in the Official Journal of the European Union.

the
Council
adopted
Decision
2009/249/EC ( 2 ) appointing Mr Johnny KERHOLM as
the Chairperson of the European Statistical Governance
