COUNCIL DECISION
of 10 February 2012
appointing four Czech members and four Czech alternate members of the Committee of the
Regions
(2012/80/EU)
THE COUNCIL OF THE EUROPEAN UNION,
— Ms těpánka FRAKOV, primátorka statutárního města
Pardubic,
Having regard to the Treaty on the Functioning of the European
Union, and in particular Article 305 thereof,
— Mr Dan JIRNEK, primátor statutárního města Kladna,
Having regard to the proposal of the Czech Government,
— Mr Juraj THOMA, primátor statutárního města eskch
Budějovic (change of mandate);
Whereas:

On 22 December 2009 and on 18 January 2010, the
Council adopted Decisions 2009/1014/EU
( 1 ) and
2010/29/EU ( 2 ) appointing the members and alternate
(b) as alternate members:
members of the Committee of the Regions for the
period from 26 January 2010 to 25 January 2015.

Four members’ seats on the Committee of the Regions
— Ms Sylva KOVIKOV, zastupitelka města Bílovec
have become vacant following the end of the terms of
(change of mandate),
office of Mr Jií BYTEL, Mr Jan KUBATA, Ms Helena
LANGDLOV and Mr Juraj THOMA. Four alternate
members’ seats on the Committee of the Regions have

Article 2
HAS ADOPTED THIS DECISION:
This Decision shall enter into force on the day of its adoption.

The following are hereby appointed to the Committee of the
Regions for the remainder of the current term of office, which
