FINAL ADOPTION of the general budget of the European Union for the financial year 1996 (96/96/Euratom, ECSC, EC)

THE PRESIDENT OF THE EUROPEAN PARLIAMENT,

Having regard to the Treaty establishing the European Coal and Steel Community, and in particular Article 78 (7) thereof,

Having regard to the Treaty establishing the European Community, and in particular Article 203 (7) thereof, as well as the text of Protocol 16 and Declaration 22 annexed thereto,

Having regard to the Treaty establishing the European Atomic Energy Community, and in particular Article 177 (7) thereof,

Having regard to the Treaty amending certain financial provisions of the Treaties establishing the European Communities and of the Treaty establishing a Single Council and a Single Commission of the European Communities, which was signed on 22 July 1975,

Having regard to the Financial Regulation of 21 December 1977 applicable to the general budget of the European Communities (), as last amended by Regulation (EC, Euratom, ECSC) No 2335/95 (), and in particular Articles 10, 15 and 17 thereof,

Having regard to the Interinstitutional Agreement of 29 October 1993 on budgetary discipline and improvement of the budgetary procedure (),

Having regard to the adjustment of the financial perspective in the light of the implementing conditions pursuant to paragraph 10 of the Interinstitutional Agreement of 29 October 1993 (),

Having regard to the preliminary draft general budget of the European Communities for the financial year 1996 submitted by the Commission,

Having regard to the draft general budget of the European Communities for the financial year 1996 established by the Council on 24 July 1995,

Having regard to the deliberations of the European Parliament of 26 October 1995,

Having regard to the letter of amendment to Section II (Council) of the draft general budget of the European Communities for the financial year 1996, established by the Council on 17 November 1995,

Having regard to the outcome of the deliberations of the Council of 17 November 1995 on the proposed modifications and the amendments adopted by the European Parliament on 26 October 1995,

Having regard to the deliberations of the European Parliament of 12 and 14 December 1995,

Having regard to the resolutions adopted by the European Parliament on 14 December 1995,

DECLARES:

The procedure laid down in Article 78 of the Treaty establishing the European Coal and Steel Community, Article 203 of the Treaty establishing the European Community and Article 177 of the Treaty establishing the European Atomic Energy Community has been completed and that the general budget of the European Union for the financial year 1996 has been finally adopted.
